Printing

Emerald Packaging has the most modern wide web flexographic 10 color printing press on the West Coast. Our gearless 60" wide German manufactured Windmoeller & Hoelscher Miraflex operates at speeds up to 1600 fpm and features print defect detection and computerized set-up which chops set-up times by two-thirds. It can easily handle 150 line screen High Definition designs. In addition we offer two eight color presses, a Comexi sleeve press for quick changeover and a 64" wide W & H Astraflex. Both have automatic defect detection and bar code verification. We also have three high speed six color presses as well.

Inks

We use solvent-based inks that deliver glossy, scuff-resistant images and high-precision print, as well as specialty heat-resistant inks for microwaveable products. For every job, our printing experts create customized color standards and monitor accuracy throughout the printing process with the X-Rite color control system.
